Online learning modules for NSQHS Standards now online
The online National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards education program provides a centralised, evidence based and readily accessible suite of comprehensive learning materials for all Victorian public and private health services clinicians. The aim is to assist clinicians to meet the requirements of the NSQHS Standards.
Cabrini Health in partnership with an extensive array of health care content experts were involved in the development of these learning materials.
Health Issues Centre was actively involved in shaping the content of Standard 2: Partnering with consumers.
The learning materials consists of:

Learning modules - comprehensive and detailed modules available in two versions.
- Microsoft Word versions on the Department's website
- Interactive versions at Grampians Regional Health Collaborative
- Tools to support the learning modules - Standards summary documents, marketing the Standards to staff, competency assessments and, Standards mapping and gap analysis spreadsheets are available on the Department's website (scroll down).
These learning materials are modifiable. Health services can tailor the learning modules and support tools to suit local needs, whilst adhering to state and national policies.
- Microsoft Word versions are already modifiable as is.
- Interactive versions require editable versions and can be requested for via email.
