Draft 2 of the NSQHS Standards released
The Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care (the Commission) started a review of the National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards in late 2014 with completion expected in 2017/18. The key deliverable for this review is version 2 of the NSQHS Standards.
Since late 2014, the Commission has spoken with health professionals, consumers, technical experts and jurisdictional representatives about their challenges and successes with the current version of the NSQHS Standards.
Based on the information gathered during these conversations and the latest evidence, a draft version 2 of the NSQHS Standards has now been developed.
