Round 3: Practice Partners Program
Health Issues Centre is pleased to announce that applications for the third round of funding for the Practice Partners Program opens on Monday, 19 February 2018.
The Practice Partners Program was established to encourage and support innovation among health services in the areas of consumer participation and person-centred care.
Community organisations are also invited to apply if they can demonstrate a direct connection with and/or benefit to public hospitals.
The grant provides recipients with a combination of:
- In-kind contributions of HIC staff expertise and support
- Funding for the project
Grants can be valued up to a total of $12,000.
Applicants are invited to attend a two-hour workshop on Wednesday, 28 February. At this workshop, applicants can hear more about the selection criteria including more information about developing and implementing innovative projects. Danny Vadasz, CEO of Health Issues Centre, said he is “looking forward to being able to assist intending applicants, and provide ideas around ways to implement new, innovative projects. It is critical that we continue working to improve relevant skills among health service workers through our grant programs.”
More information on the workshop is available here.
Applications for the third round of funding close at 5pm on Friday 13 April, 2018. It is expected that projects will begin in June 2018.
