Seasons Greetings from HIC

Thank you for yet another year of collaboration. As the year draws to a close, we would like to wish you peace and goodwill over this festive season and into the new year.

In lieu of Christmas cards, we are making a donation to Oxfam for the Straight Talk program which aims at empowering Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander woman to be the change they want to see in their community.

Since its beginning, Oxfam Australia’s Straight Talk program has brought together hundreds of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women from across the nation to learn about Australia’s political system and form powerful networks with each other and women of Federal Parliament.
 
At its core, Straight Talk connects Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women with the political system and develops the skills of women as change makers within their own community.
 
We look forward to continuing our collaboration with you in 2016! Find out more about what we will be doing next year below.
